Simon Roche runs the design agency Bureau – a bespoke graphic design service for publication, editorial and cultural/music-related projects as well as for branding projects ranging from the international to breaking-ground new businesses. Currently working full-time at the American school book publisher HMH, this is a collection of work produced while operating full-time as Bureau, and of some work undertaken outside HMH in recent years.

Bureau design thoughtful, engaging and enduring work leaning on classic approaches to both design and visual understanding. We like to produce work with an overarching reliance on clarity and legibility, from inception to overseeing the best production appropriate to each individual project.

Simon has worked in many fields in the last 20+ years as a designer, and produced work for many international clients as well as Irish businesses – focussing on cultural work, branding and editorial design. In 2008 he won the Periodical Publishers Association of Ireland award for best Irish Designer, for his work with State Magazine.
